Poem 34-Bride/Dulhan

@donbratman:
She looked at her dad, her eyes filled with tears,
He looked at his baby, his heart filled with pride,
She held his hand, as always, to overcome her fears
He passed it on to the young gentleman, for she was his bride.

@MinolAjekar:
From behind the veil she peered, the smoke seems thick,
The pandit chants, but the hunger she feels, is making her sick.
She fiddles with the heavy garland weighing her down,
Seems different from yesterday, when she got her doll married to her brother’s clown.

@Gods_Evangelos:
Ek umeed us paraye insaan se na chodega woh saath,
Ek aasha us anjaan parivar se jissay hai jivan ki sadbhaasha,
Naya ghar, Naye log, Kya hogi wahi purani paribhaasha?
Har Dulhan chahti hai apne ghar ki parchai is ghar mai aakar.

@sumitrai100:
4 men lifted the 'palaqui',bride inside,crying
4 men shouldered the bier,he was silent,calm and content
two travellers on different paths were supposed to be husband and wife
one was dead for ever,one was going to die for rest of her life.
